About Professorinnocent Concrete and How Referrals Work

Get connected with a provider

Who We Are

Professorinnocent Concrete is a referral service for new concrete driveways and patios. We are not a contractor. We do not pour, cut, grade or finish anything. We connect homeowners with independent local providers who do.

Why We Exist

Older houses make concrete jobs harder. The slab may sit on old fill. A past patch may hide a bigger issue. A stone or block foundation may sit close to the work. Many homeowners do not know what to ask. This service exists to point you to providers who work on older homes, and to help you ask better questions.

How Providers Are Matched

You tell us what you want. A driveway or a patio. The rough size. The age of the house. We pass that to a provider in our network who serves the Danbury area. The provider then contacts you or takes your call. Availability varies, so Request a callback to check provider availability.

What We Expect From Providers

Providers in our network are asked to:

  • Look at the site before they quote
  • Explain how they handle old slabs, drainage and frost
  • Put the quote in writing
  • Be clear about permits and who handles them
  • Treat your home and yard with care

Each provider is independent and runs their own business. Ask any provider about their licensing and insurance, and get the answer in writing.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not do the work.
  • We do not set prices.
  • We do not manage your project.
  • We do not take repair-only calls. A simple concrete driveway repair is outside what this site covers.
  • We do not give legal, engineering or insurance advice. Some policies may cover sudden damage; check your policy.

How We Are Paid

Providers in our network may pay Professorinnocent Concrete a referral fee when we connect them with a homeowner. Requesting an estimate does not add a line to your bill. The price of the work is agreed between you and the provider. Typical U.S. costs vary a lot by size, site and finish, so get a written quote.
